Content Creation Photography For Bird & Brass

I had the great opportunity to do some content creation photography for the local store, Bird & Brass. This Watkinsville, GA artist, Erika Pfluke, is a lover of birds and nature. Her entire store reflects that. She hand paints bibles for men and women showcasing her talent and passions. She needed some branding images of her work for a venture with a bible company, which is where I came in.

We decided to do her content creation photography session in her yard so that she did not have to haul her art too far and to be in a place that in comfortable to her. The outdoor session is also fitting for her artwork of flowers and birds. Nothing like painting nature in nature.

I had put together a storyboard for her along with a list of suggested items that would be perfect for her branding images – from wardrobe, paints, furniture, paint on apron, to accessories.

After her session, I brought some bibles and some personal items and things from her store to photograph the bibles in more detail. These flat lays highlight not only her artwork, but her brand as a whole.

If you have not checked out Bird & Brass in Watkinsville, make sure to stop by or check them out online. You can purchase bibles online – preprinted or custom painted. Make sure to say hi to Erika. She is the sweetest and most welcoming person.

If you are needing content creation for your own business, give me a holler. I would love to discuss options with you. info@yvonneniemannphotography.com  |  706.713.0676

Musician & Actress Headshots Athens, GA

Such an honor photographing this musician and actress for her updated headshots. She is a natural performer and has been practically her whole life. It is in her blood. With upcoming plays and concerts coming up, she needed some professional headshots for programs and auditions. She had mentioned that a lot of people use pictures taken with their iPhones, but she wanted to stand out and have something done professionally that she could be proud of. She came to my home studio with a few outfit options and got some beautiful images of her. I think these convey her strength and her soft side. Shows her range and personality very well. There is something that is very old Hollywood in her features. Classic beauty. If you have an opportunity to see Katie Collins perform, make sure you take advantage of that. Well worth it. Her acting amazing, her soulful voice will give you goose bumps and her piano playing comes with such ease – as if an extension of her fingers.

Late fall can be just as beautiful for senior portraits.

This session was photographed in mid-November here in Georgia, when the landscape had softened into warm grasses, golden trees and beautiful late-fall light.

It’s such a great time of year for senior portraits - comfortable temperatures, gorgeous texture in the landscape and plenty of options for fall wardrobe.

If senior portraits are still on your list this year, there’s no need to feel like you missed your window.

Early Fall mornings gives beautiful light and sometimes works best with busy schedules of teenagers during this time of year.

Love how the light embraces her and how the hydrangeas add a painterly texture to the background.
