Everything is fresh with life as if the earth just gave birth to all the beauty that it has to offer. Such a wonderful delivery mother nature gifts us each Spring! I love the soft grass, smell of flowers blooming for the first time, the chirp of birds and scurrying of baby animals. The dew in the morning and crisp air awakens the senses even more. So fitting for the surroundings for an expecting mom with child. There’s an element of romance to this time in a woman’s life and I love capturing the beauty of it all! When planning portrait sessions, I always encourage families to include the animals that hold such a special place in their hearts. They are part of your story too.

This sweet girl adores her beloved horse and says he is “the most gentle, loving horse” she has ever known. Watching the two of them together was pure magic. The quiet connection, trust, and love between them is something worth documenting and cherishing for generations.
