Everything is fresh with life as if the earth just gave birth to all the beauty that it has to offer. Such a wonderful delivery mother nature gifts us each Spring! I love the soft grass, smell of flowers blooming for the first time, the chirp of birds and scurrying of baby animals. The dew in the morning and crisp air awakens the senses even more. So fitting for the surroundings for an expecting mom with child. There’s an element of romance to this time in a woman’s life and I love capturing the beauty of it all! Happy 20th birthday to my sweet Lily Mae!

Twenty years ago today, I had no idea how completely my world was about to change. I still remember all the little details - the morning walk, making homemade cinnamon bread, the doctor’s appointment that unexpectedly turned into a hospital stay, the movie we watched while we waited for your arrival, the sweet nurses and doctors that helped welcome you into the world (thank you Mike for the epidural)…and then the moment they placed you on my chest and we met for the very first time.

I could not have asked for a better daughter. I am so incredibly proud of the woman you have become and love watching you find your own way in this world. I cannot wait to see where life takes you next.

No matter how grown you are, you will always be my baby girl. Happy 20th, Lily Mae. You are my whole world. 🤍
