Child portraits in purple flower field in Oconee County, GA.

This weekend I photographed this beautiful lil’ lady in a purple flower field in Oconee County. She was such a delight to capture with my camera. Wonderful personality that is sweet and sometimes silly. In the image above she is picking flowers for her parents and brothers, which shows off her caring side. Love her thoughtful expression and delicate features here. Classic beauty and portrait.

This Southern beauty is modeling a new dress to the Yvonne Niemann Photography wardrobe closet. It works perfectly in this setting as it would in many other settings. Love how the muted purple tones of the dress works with this little girl’s skin and hair coloring. The textured collar and flowing fabric brings a romantic feel to a little girl’s portraits. Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
