I loved photographing these four for their Spring family portrait pictures. I first photographed this family when they had just welcomed their little girl into the world and were just beginning their life as a family of three. Now, they have a little boy in the mix! What an honor to create images like this for them through the years for important milestones.
This lil’ beauty is such a sweet heart and is always on the move! There isn’t much slowing her down these days. Luckily, these flowers were a nice distraction – if only for a few seconds – which is all we really needed to get adorable images of her like the ones above.
There is nothing like portraits of parents with their children. Their bonds and unique connections really come through in family portraits. At the ages of these two children, the parents are really busy keeping up with their lil’ ones. With that comes a lot of laughter, cuddles and play time. These are the moments that these children will look back at fondly. They will see these images and know they were loved and how fun their childhood was. It is natural for these two to run around in nature, so it made this backdrop fitting for this family’s portrait pictures. I always look for areas that makes sense to a family and is also safe for the age of the children. Nothing in this area was off bounds. Just tons of beautiful light and free space for exploring, running and playing by themselves and as a family! Perfect.
