As a lifestyle baby photographer, I adore capturing important milestones for families. That first year, there are so many big milestones and they are all worth capturing. For this baby’s session, they were celebrating her nine month accomplishments of sitting on her own steadily and her sweet personality. Her sister joined in, which I love to see the connection and relationship that they have at this particular time in life. I have been photographing big sister since she was a few months old, so that was such a special treat to photograph these sisters through little sister’s milestones too. Aren’t they just adorable?!
Mom always dresses her daughters in the most amazing heirlooms for their sessions. These precious dresses were worn by their mom and are being passed down to be enjoyed and worn by the next generation. Such a wonderful gift for the entire family and makes these portraits that much more meaningful. Love it when family’s use treasured sentimental items for their portraits. This is a great example of what to wear for your own child’s portraits.
