Natural Baby Style Portrait in Athens, GA

Oh my goodness!!!! I don’t think it can get any cuter than this!!! That round face, those eyes, those rosy cheeks and lips, his expression….pure perfection. This morning this lil’ six month old was all smiles and so much fun to photograph. I kept saying how he looks like the Gerber baby. Don’t you see the resemblance?He really lights up the room with his personality. I know mom and him must love their bonding time while big brother and sister are at school. This time is so fleeting. So glad that they get to cherish these moments together.

Natural baby style is perfect for portraits. This is such a great example. This cable knit romper by Baby Gap in cream looks so good with the white linens on the bed in his family’s home. Really shows off that adorable face and keeps the focus on him. LOVE! There’s a reason I plan my sessions for the edges of the day. Right before sunrise and just before sunset, the sun sits low on the horizon, wrapping everything in soft, golden light. It’s flattering, gentle on skin tones, and creates that dreamy glow you simply can’t replicate at noon. The wind calms, the beach feels peaceful, and the magic naturally unfolds.

This sweet mother-daughter moment was captured on Jekyll Island at Driftwood Beach just as the sun was rising — when the sky turns pastel and the reflections shimmer along the shoreline.

When you trust the light, you get images that feel timeless, effortless, and full of heart.
