Loved this family and children photography session that took place at State Botanical Gardens of Georgia. The weather was perfection and there were lots of pretty backdrops for us to utilize and change up the scenery for when the boys needed something different. Gotta keep moving with the short attention spans of little ones!
We started with family portraits and then moved on to get images of just the boys. Gotta love those personalities coming through in these portraits. Oh, and check out those yummy details in the boys’ outfits. Picture perfect.
For portraits of mom with her sons, I thought it would be fitting to give them the scenery of flowers. Look how nicely it all coordinates, but also gives the youngest one something to do and a place to explore too.
We ended the family and children photography session with some more sibling images. Aren’t they just the sweetest?!
Mom did a fabulous job dressing her sons for their portraits as usual. Love the dusty blue and a white color palette. The velvet and crisp cotton is a classic, while also lending a lot of interest with the fine details. The pleating, and scalloped edging is to die for!!!! Even the shoe choices are perfection. Such timeless outfits that are very fitting for family and children photography. Mom’s blue patterned dress and dad’s blazer look wonderful with their sons’ outfits. Notice how even mom and dad have the same color shoes?! Great way to bring everything together. Love how everything coordinates and complements each other, but is not matchy matchy. Everyone gets to show off their personality and style. Great example of what to wear for your family and children portraits. When thinking of wardrobe selection, consider where your finished artwork will be displayed and the setting of where your portrait session will take place. It is so much more pleasant to the eye when everything coordinates from start to finish.
