I have been photographing these ladies since this little lady was in her mom’s belly. It has been such an honor to document them every year. This session was part of their girls trip in their special place on Jekyll Island. Professional mother daughter portraits at Driftwood Beach is always a treat. Such a magical place with all the trees that are sculptures made by Mother Nature through the years. The soft sand under your feet, beautiful. water and that beautiful sky as the sun rises is such a gift. We started their morning session by some of the trees and then we moved over to the more cleared beach area.

The birds seem to be in unison with this beauty she ran the beach. I had her wait to run until the birds were in the correct vantage point for this image.
Such a special bond these two have. Always a joy to see them and how they interact together. Can you feel it?!
At the end of the session we stopped at this walkway on the way back to the car. Perfect lighting as the sun became too bright on the beach. Also gave more variety for their professional mother daughter portraits.
Their wardrobe selection was perfect for their Driftwood Beach professional mother daughter portraits. The pastel color palette mimicked the colors of the beach, ocean and sky that morning. Will also look great with their home decor. Always great to consider where your finished artwork will be displayed to ensure it all fits together.
