I love toddler photography! The age is such a delight with their personalities really beginning to shine through. Sometimes as they test their independence, they don’t want to be held for too long, but they are usually always up to playing games and will allow some quick sweet snuggles with mom and dad. Other toddlers only want to be held, which is equally enduring and beautiful to capture through the camera. As you can tell, this little one loved to snuggle and play with her parents. As all toddlers, her attention span was short, so we made sure to switch things up often and gave her some space to explore and have some alone time too. This location really allowed her to do just that in a beautiful and safe environment.
I love how moms dress their little ones here in the South! The classic and timeless outfits that instantly become family heirlooms just warms my heart. Mom did a wonderful job dressing her entire family for their winter toddler photography session. Even this little Southern lady’s favorite stuffed animal coordinates! Great example of what to wear for family portraits here in the South when weather is a bit cooler.
