This little beauty came over for her two year portraits last night. Her daddy wanted to surprise her mommy with the gift of photographic artwork and requested the opulent tea party set up for his daughter. He had seen it on my website and thought it would be perfect for his Southern little girl. I supplied everything, including wardrobe and accessories. Daddy just needed to bring his beautiful daughter and one of her favorite dolls or stuffed animals. Miss C ended up bringing a bag of dolls and quickly selected her favorite to join her for the tea party. Her baby’s name is Baby Bottle, which makes perfect sense since the doll’s outfit has little baby bottles on it. Don’t you crave for such simplicity?!
Dad tried to keep the portraits a secret, but ended up spilling the beans beforehand, so mom ended up coming to the session after all, which was such a treat as we were able to get family and mother/daughter portraits as well. We were able to be a bit more flexible with timing as well since we didn’t have to try to hide the portrait session from mom.
Such a beautiful family, inside and out. So fun photographing this lil’ beauty in celebration of her second birthday! She lives in my neighborhood, so I get to see her every day. Seems like just yesterday, her parents were bringing her home from the hospital and now look at the li’ lady she has become! Boy, does time pass. Wish it could slow down just a bit…. Happy belated birthday Miss C!
