This beautiful framed portrait arrived yesterday for a dear client and I had to take a few pictures of this timeless piece of art before it went out for delivery. The classic champagne frame really complements the fine art print of this adorable two year old girl that was taken in a field in Oconee County, GA. The colors work so well together and the matting and classic frame style helps draw the eyes straight to the photographic artwork.

All framed portraits are handmade to order, so custom sizes are not a problem. They are made with sustainable hardwood, come with conservation-grade 4 ply bevel cut mats, UV museum acrylic, acid-free dust backing paper and hanging hardware. For clients living in the Athens, GA area, complimentary hanging service is available as well. Absolutely no work on your part. Forty deserves to be celebrated!

For her 40th birthday portraits, she wanted vibrant color, an urban setting and images that felt fun, polished and completely her. We photographed at the same Atlanta location where she would later celebrate her birthday, complete with a brand-new haircut, balloons, a cupcake bouquet and the most fabulous birthday cake purse.

And just like that…the final milestone of her first year.

I first photographed this sweet girl while she was still in her mama’s belly, followed by tummy time, sitting, crawling and now her first birthday. Watching those tiny changes unfold through photographs is such a special part of what I do.

For her birthday session, we filled my studio with balloons and let her explore. Simple, classic and celebratory - with no worries about the Georgia heat or unpredictable weather.

Such a beautiful way to remember one very big year.
