This family was a joy to capture during the first couple of weeks of their daughter’s life for her newborn photography session at their home in St. Charles, MO. She was so delicate and proper during her portrait session. Full of smiles, cute lil’ poses that she naturally fell into and loved being comforted with warmth from the nearby fireplace or in the loving arms of her parents. Congrats to this beautiful family. I’m sure Maggie will bring much joy to those around her!

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.
This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.
Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.
