I’ve been photographing Kristen’s family since the birth of their first son, Xavier, so I was so happy and excited to capture her second pregnancy with a maternity portrait session! Kristen is beautiful inside and out and I think her portraits really show that fact. I recently met her second son, Myles, when he was three days old during his newborn photography session at their new home. It’s such an honor to capture these special moments.
There were severe thunderstorms moving in during this maternity photography session, but the sun came out for a brief moment. What a difference it makes in images! I just love yummy backlighting. Magical! THIS is why time of day is so important when holding a portrait session. Dreamy, buttery, beautiful lighting makes for beautiful images, which in turn just warms my soul!
