Over the weekend, I traveled to St. Louis for some Spring family portraits. It rained pretty much the entire time, but we were luckily able to head indoors for all sessions.
I absolutely adore this portrait of these two! This brother and sister duo have such a special relationship and strong bond. This young man is such a great role model to his lil’ sister. They both love cuddling and playing together. In fact, mom mentioned that big brother is baby sister’s favorite person! How sweet is that?!
Didn’t mom do such a great job with their outfits?! Very fitting for Spring family portraits. The soft color palette looks so good for the setting and with their skin tones. Really keeps the focus on those sweet sweet faces. Just look at those eyes! This is a great example of how to coordinate without being matchy matchy. Pure perfection in my book. Just wait until you see mom and dad’s outfits! Will share more later. It all worked out perfectly.
I have been photographing this family since big brother’s newborn portraits. It is always such an honor to be trusted with all their important milestones and yearly portraits over the years. I cannot get over these two have grown. Such neat personalities too. Big brother is into sports, specifically soccer and baseball. Little sister is into Doc McStuffins and bunnies. They love to play soccer together, which I am hoping to capture this Fall when hopefully the weather cooperates a bit better for us.
