This child portrait is of a Southern belle about to celebrate her third birthday! It has been an honor to photograph Miss L for her important milestones over the last couple of years.
Since she is a Spring baby, her mom wanted something that spoke to the season. We used the blooming trees of the pear trees last year and we were planning on the flowering wisteria this year, but they didn’t last long enough this season due to the recent freeze. After some location scouting, I gave mom a couple suggestions and we decided on this particular garden. Worked out perfectly for this busy little gal! She got to run around, play games and explore among beautiful landscaping. Her dress is part of the Yvonne Niemann Photography wardrobe. It complemented the backdrop, Miss L’s skin tone and this time of year. I adore the gold shoes mom found as well as the delicate butterfly headband that matched the dress perfectly.
