For this session, we stayed close to home – literally. Just down the street from my client’s house was the most beautiful field, complete with soft greenery and delicate wildflowers. She had envisioned a setting that felt natural and feminine, and this location was the perfect fit. Choosing a place that holds familiarity often allows seniors to feel more relaxed and confident, which always translates beautifully in their portraits.
We scheduled her session during golden hour, just before sunset, when the light is soft, warm, and incredibly flattering. This time of day creates that signature glow that brings depth and softness to every image
Her wardrobe choices added another layer of intention to her session. A classic white top paired with denim gave us a relaxed, timeless look, while her flowing dress brought a softer, more elevated feel.
