I absolutely adore romantic maternity outdoor photography, especially here in the Athens area of Georgia. The beautiful landscapes here lend well to the glow and romance of pregnancy. When this stunning mom-to-be arrived for her maternity portrait session I knew that her outfit would be perfect for this location on the shoals and among the wooded area. We had discussed wardrobe options prior to her session and I think what she decided on is a great example of what to wear to highlight pregnancy. The dress isn’t a maternity gown, but the princess waist worked wonderfully and was flattering for C’s third trimester figure. The green color complemented her red hair, skin tone and the natural surrounding. Going barefoot on the rock shoals was a natural as it gave a natural elegance and ease to her final images. Love how her husband coordinated with her while keeping things relaxed, yet dressed up enough to work with his wife’s outfit. Their love for each other really shines through in their images. It was wonderful thing to witness and capture with my camera.
