Portraits of pregnancy during your last trimester is such a wonderful time to document through photography. These are some of the final moments as a family of two. So many emotions running through parents-to-be; love, excitement, anticipation, hope, nervousness, eagerness, wonderment and romance.
These two live in Oconee County and have strong ties to UGA, so they asked to split up the session in both locations, which I thought was a great idea to tell their story. North campus in Athens, GA was so beautiful with green foliage and blossoming trees. Their neighborhood was the perfect place to end their maternity portrait session with the natural landscape and wooden fence that works well with their country style. Love how meaningful both backdrops are to this couple and will continue to be for this family of three! Their comfort for each other and the joy of this time just exudes from these two through their portraits of pregnancy. Such an honor to create photographic art during this special time.
Their wardrobe choices are a great example of what to wear for a couple’s maternity photos. Both dresses show off this mom-to-be’s beautiful baby bump and works well with both locations. Her husband’s outfits complements what she’s wearing and the locations perfectly. A simple change of a shirt makes all the difference in the feel of the images and the settings.
