“Mothers and their children are in a category all their own. There’s no bond so strong in the world. No love so instantaneous and forgiving.” ~ GAIL TSUKIYAMA
Ahhhh! Peach tree blossoms in the Spring in Georgia. So beautiful and fitting for a mother baby portrait for this Southern family.
I have been photographing this lil’ man since his newborn photography session at his home in Watkinsville. It is always a delight to see how much he has grown and accomplished every few months through my camera. He sure has grown a lot in the last three months. He has grown so tall, is thinning out and is crawling everywhere and even starting to stand on his own! So many changes in his short nine months in this world. I absolutely love his personality and the connection between his parents and him. So beautiful and pure. His mom’s singing can easily calm or excite this charming man, depending on what she sings. It’s one of her magic powers! I adore the look on this little one’s face as his mom cuddles into him. You can really feel the love of motherhood here. I purposely shot through the flowering limbs of the tree to get the pink glow and add to the dreaminess. I think it worked nicely for the feel of this particular mother baby portrait.
Baby R’s mom always picks the best outfits for their portraits. This is another great example of what to wear for your baby’s Spring photos. The pale blue and white classic romper coordinates well with his mom’s white blouse and blue skirt while complementing the backdrop of pale pink blossoming peach flowers.
