Pure Bliss | Lake St. Louis Newborn Photography

Today I photographed this beautiful nine day old baby girl for her newborn photography session at her family home in Lake St. Louis. She is such a good sleeper. Didn’t really wake up the whole time I was there, which is quite remarkable! Her mom had written on her questionnaire that she was hoping for a smiling picture if possible and since babies don’t usually smile until they are much older, I couldn’t promise anything, but you can imagine our delight when Miss N graced us with this blissful smile! Isn’t she a dream? Her parents are quite lucky to have such an easy going and sleepy baby. This is what I imagine people are referring to when they say “sleep like a baby” because as you may know, most babies don’t always sleep so soundly. We were able to get quite a variety of images of this princess that I know her parents will adore. I picked this specific image of baby N because of her precious smile, how peaceful she looks, how her hands delicately rest under her cheek and those adorable feet peeking out from her swaddle. Fall in Athens can be absolutely magical!

These sweet sisters had the prettiest November portrait session at Founder`s Garden on UGA`s campus. The vibrant fall foliage was the perfect backdrop, while their soft pinks, delicate florals and cozy layers complemented the scenery beautifully.

Late October and early November are some of my favorite times for fall family photos in Athens, GA. Gorgeous colors, comfortable temperatures and beautiful memories to treasure for years to come.
