Professional Children’s Photography | Christening

I recently held a professional children’s photography session of a little girl to celebrate her christening. Her dress and accessories were so pretty and selected with such love and care. She was getting her hair done at the salon when it began raining. Her mom and I touched base to discuss options. We were originally set to photograph her in a beautiful park, so I knew we wanted something manicured and special. I knew that this indoor location would be very fitting for this type of session, and her mom agreed.

This beautiful young lady’s little sister came along and was ready for pictures too! So glad that we were able to get some touching sibling portraits of these two. They are super close and have an amazing bond. Such an honor to photograph these two during this special milestone. The last time I photographed them, little sister was just a baby. My, how they have changed!

Of course, I had to grab a few images of this little beauty by herself too. Isn’t she just the cutest thing? She is a natural model who changed up poses on her own and was such a ham!

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!

I was going through images and realized that I need to update pictures of our sweet pup, Bella. We are coming up on our one year anniversary of her being in our lives. One week from today will mark that big day, which means more images like this in the very near future.

She now has her “feathers” and has that beautiful hair that is still growing. Her tail has really filled out!!!!!

Our pets deserve to be documented too! They are such a big part of our family.
