As a professional family photographer, I have had the great pleasure to capture families from the very start when they first welcomed their first baby into the world and then as their family grows. This is just one of those families. I first photographed them when their eldest boy was about a week old and throughout the years I have had the honor of documenting their important milestones with each of their boys. Such an amazing thing to witness through my camera.
This family’s session took place in the Summer. We met for their family portrait session at a park with beautiful flowers in bloom that coordinated with the family’s outfits, but when the rain started we had to come up with an alternative quickly. I had done a bit of research ahead of time and presented a new location idea, which really worked out perfectly. The colors at the new location complemented the family’s wardrobe as if this was where we were meant to be that day!
The boys were able to run around freely and explore their surroundings safely. Plenty of cuddle and play time was given to give some natural and fun family photos without making the boys feel like they had to be “on” at all times.
So glad that we were able to find relief from the rainy weather on this Summer day. Always an honor photographing this family of five! Thank you for trusting me with your treasured moments through photographic art.
