I adore portraits of mother daughter connections. Such a special bond. I had the opportunity to photograph this precious two year old with her mom yesterday at their home in Athens. These two get to spend quality alone time together while big brother is off at school and dad is at work. I know these moments are cherished and meaningful to both mother and daughter. I love the image below as it really is a glimpse into their lives and the happiness they bring each other. There is nothing like a hug from your child. Such pure sweetness and unconditional love. I think images like this are so important to have as the time is so fleeting and with a blink of an eye our children are grown and not wanting cuddle time. Most moms are behind the camera documenting their children’s lives. It can be rare to be in front of the camera with our children. I’m guilty of this myself. I have to remind myself to hand the camera off to my husband for at least one shot to prove that I was actually there too.
