Spring is in full force in Georgia and beauty is everywhere you look. This Spring field in Watkinsville was the perfect location for my tween girl’s portraits. The purple and white flowers among the fresh green grass complements her romantic style and dreamer personality traits. Great place to pick flowers and let your mind wander.

I drive past this field almost daily and my daughter agreed that we should stop to explore while allowing me to photograph her among the beauty of Mother Nature. While we were there, she mentioned how it would be the perfect place to have a picnic and read a book. We will certainly make the time for that exact thing in the very near future. I know these times with my daughter won’t last for long and I want to take every opportunity to spend quality time with her while she still wants me around. Childhood passes away so fast and I sometimes feel the need to slow things down and freeze time a bit. It’s moments like this that I want engraved in my head. Thankfully having portraits of her will keep these memories alive and fresh as the years go on.
