Maternity and Newborn Portrait Heirloom Box

This beautiful maternity and newborn portrait heirloom box is being shipped out to some dear clients of mine back in St. Louis. I took a few product images of it to show it off a bit first though. Isn’t it gorgeous? This is the ever popular Mini Fine Art Image Box. It is 7″x7″ and holds 10 photographic prints framed in thick 4 ply mats. Mats can stay in the archival box for enjoyment or taken out and framed or propped up on an easel or photo shelf. Absolute sophistication. Each box is handmade by artisans in the USA and are covered in a natural linen material and finished with a chocolate silk bow. Such a wonderful way to store your family heirlooms! Congrats D family on your new baby and for trusting me with your portrait needs during these special times.

This is my sweet baby girl. She is obviously not a baby anymore, but rather a beautiful young lady, but she will ALWAYS be MY baby. I am sure all parents can relate.

Lily is why I do what I do. Before I got pregnant, I was a video producer with some crazy hours. When I found out I was expecting, my husband and I looked into childcare options, but weren`t having much luck finding what we needed. My heart was telling me to be with my daughter. I didn`t want to miss out on anything. My plan was to freelance, but the hours honestly weren`t much different, so I decided to stay home with my baby girl.

I had always done photography on the side. Early on, I did photo journalism, but then switched over to doing it as a hobby once I started my career in video. I worked for a photographer for a short time in college who had her studio in her home and always thought that would be perfect for when I had my own family. So, that is exactly what I set my mind to once I made the decision to quit the video world. As a mom, it would allow me to set my own goals, hours and run things the way I wanted.

Owning my own business has been such a blessing! I get to be there for my daughter and family while feeding into my passion for photography. It gives me such freedom and makes my heart sing with every session I do. Love documenting important moments for my clients throughout their journey of life. Such an honor and something that I don`t take lightly.

Thank you Lily for leading me down this path and allowing me to do what I am truly passionate about. Getting pregnant with you was the push I needed to make my dreams a reality.

You know when people say that if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life? I can attest that is very true. It is what I hope for my daughter and all of you!
