Maternity & Newborn Luxe Matted Album

The Luxe Matted Album is a favorite among families and are great for archiving maternity and newborn portraits in one place. This particular album arrived today for a client and I had to share a few images before it goes out for delivery. Isn’t it beautiful? The 30 image album is handmade by artisans and is covered in a beautiful natural linen material and each 5″x7″ image is matted to individual pages. Such a timeless piece that will surely be cherished and passed down through the generations. I love it when new parents include images from both their maternity and newborn photography sessions as it really tells a story of this precious time in their lives. Forty deserves to be celebrated!

For her 40th birthday portraits, she wanted vibrant color, an urban setting and images that felt fun, polished and completely her. We photographed at the same Atlanta location where she would later celebrate her birthday, complete with a brand-new haircut, balloons, a cupcake bouquet and the most fabulous birthday cake purse.

And just like that…the final milestone of her first year.

I first photographed this sweet girl while she was still in her mama’s belly, followed by tummy time, sitting, crawling and now her first birthday. Watching those tiny changes unfold through photographs is such a special part of what I do.

For her birthday session, we filled my studio with balloons and let her explore. Simple, classic and celebratory - with no worries about the Georgia heat or unpredictable weather.

Such a beautiful way to remember one very big year.
