Home family spring pictures in St. Louis.

I absolutely adore this family and it has been such a pleasure to photograph them through the years. Last Spring, I was commissioned for their family spring pictures. Their youngest son was just beginning to sit up on his own and they had recently purchased a new home that they were in the process of renovating. We held their session outside their new home. So fitting as this is where these boys will grow up and this family will have many many memories through the years. This is their forever home!

One thing that always strikes me when I am around this family of four is their joy. They truly have so much fun together. Always lots of play and cuddles. Lifestyle family photo sessions are so fitting for them as it really shows the special bonds and connections between family members.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
