Heirloom Portrait Event

I am so happy to announce the first ever heirloom portrait event at Yvonne Niemann Photography. Sessions will take place at my home studio in Oconee County, GA on February 11, 2023.

Children’s heirloom portraits are a classic type of photography that can be passed down through the generations. These portraits will be taken from waist up, on a white backdrop, and beautifully lit with studio lighting.

The heirloom portrait event is for both boys and girls. Ideal ages are 1-7, but I can easily accommodate younger and older children. Younger children must be able to sit steadily without support.

These 15 minute sessions include digital images as shown in the online gallery (minimum of 5) in color and b&w. You also have the option to purchase photographic artwork. Mounted and matted prints, framed portraits and canvases are available.

If booking for more than one child, please book sessions back to back. If back to back session times are not available, please contact me directly for help in scheduling.

Forty deserves to be celebrated!

For her 40th birthday portraits, she wanted vibrant color, an urban setting and images that felt fun, polished and completely her. We photographed at the same Atlanta location where she would later celebrate her birthday, complete with a brand-new haircut, balloons, a cupcake bouquet and the most fabulous birthday cake purse.

A milestone birthday is the perfect excuse to step in front of the camera and celebrate this season of life in your own style.

And just like that…the final milestone of her first year.

I first photographed this sweet girl while she was still in her mama’s belly, followed by tummy time, sitting, crawling and now her first birthday. Watching those tiny changes unfold through photographs is such a special part of what I do.

For her birthday session, we filled my studio with balloons and let her explore. Simple, classic and celebratory - with no worries about the Georgia heat or unpredictable weather.

Such a beautiful way to remember one very big year.

One of the best things about choosing an in-home newborn session? Everything you need is right there. Diapers, bottles, favorite blankets, an entire closet to choose from - and a quick outfit change is easy when those inevitable newborn accidents happen!

It’s also wonderful for older siblings. They can play with their own toys, grab a snack or take a little break when they need one. No packing everyone up and no worrying about forgetting something.

Just a relaxed morning at home, loving on your new baby while I document it all.
