Athens, GA Children’s Photo Session

I have been photographing these lil’ southern ladies since the youngest was in her mom’s belly. Always a joy to do their children’s photo session year after year. This particular year, we chose to do their session at the UGA State Botanical Garden. Very fitting for these two. These sisters were in full on exploration and play mode, so we changed up locations a lot and allowed them to play and investigate their surroundings. Worked out great!

I love it when grandparents arrive ready for portraits with their grandchildren. These will not only be special images now, but years down the line too. What a gift to be so loved. Having this last image of three generations will surely be prized for years to come!

Mom always does a great job dressing her family for portraits. These classic dresses on the girls with the tights and timeless shoes will never go out of style. Great example of how to dress your little girls for your children’s photo session.

Spring is officially here and Easter is just a few days away. How are you celebrating? Are you heading out of town for spring break, staying put, planning fun activities within short driving distance, or perhaps a combination of all the above?

Since my daughter is in college and she already had her spring break, we are looking forward to having her home for Easter and celebrating the holiday with friends.
