St. Louis will always have a special place in my heart. Summer is hot, but gives such beautiful family portrait opportunities. This family had a busy day with ball games in the morning, playtime in the afternoon and then they headed across the street to this amazing spot for their Summer family photos. Weather was perfection and the boys were in such great moods! I have been photographing this family before the boys were even born for their very first maternity session and I have to say, this past session was one off my favorites. I think a lot of it had to do with the location. It is a place the boys are super familiar with and it seemed more like play for them.
The cool water really helped cool things off. Nothing like some fresh running water on a summer day.
Cannot get enough of those adorable freckles and big eyes on both of the boys. Nothing screams summer like some freckled noses and cheeks.
We ended the session with some sweet images of mom and dad alone. Love being able to get images like this of the parents when we are able!
