Fall portraits have officially begun in the Athens, GA area! The weather is still quite hot, but the leaves are beginning to change and fall to the ground. Mornings are a bit crisp and the temperatures in the evenings are pleasant once again. All signs of Autumn.
I had the opportunity to photograph this four month old with his beloved mom in Oconee County do document his newly acquired milestones. Such a great time capturing this lil’ man’s personality and the love between mother and child.
This handsome Southern man had begun grabbing those toes, could sit up propped up against items and had superb neck and upper body strength. I could not get over his smiles with those baby teeth showing! Most adorable thing ever. Even though he was teething during the time of his session, his sweet personality would shine through when his mom would sing to him or we would play games such as peek-a-boo. I adore the relationship between Mr. R with him mom. Quite a magical thing to witness and such an honor to capture through my camera.
Mom had several wardrobe changes during their customized premium photo session, which worked out nicely for their Fall portraits on the farm. This mom always does such a fantastic job selecting outfits for her family’s photos. Love the textures, patterns and little details of each outfit. Adds interest without being distracting. Keeps the focus on the personalities and connections between family members. She also does a great job coordinating outfits with not only her son and herself, but with the location as well. Perfect example of what to wear for Fall portraits!
