Authentic St. Louis Maternity Portraits

Maternity portraits, showcasing the love a couple has towards each other and their new baby, can be such a touching and enduring gift. Pregnancy in itself is a miracle and there’s something even more magical witnessing this special time for couples. They are growing their love and building a family even before their baby arrives. The anticipation and excitement is quite contagious. These parents-to-be were such a delight! As I was capturing this beautiful lady at their loft, I kept hearing her husband say, as he watched on, “So beautiful! Isn’t she stunning?!” It was so sweet and such an authentic reaction to his beautiful wife in front of him. She of course glowed in the light that enveloped her and the baby she is carrying. I am so excited to meet their bundle of joy! Not too much longer until the big mystery is revealed – boy or girl!? Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
