Newborn sibling portrait of three boys in Athens, GA.A new life is always a miracle and when a baby enters the world greeted by two wonderful brothers and parents like this little man was, it is even more special. I know that he felt the love and excitement from his brothers from day one. How wonderful to have siblings to guide you through life and show you the ropes. I’m pretty sure these three will have remarkable adventures and cause a lot of mischief together. I can’t think of anything better. I just adore this family and I feel so honored to have photographed them from when they entered their very first son into the world. Now, three boys are in the mix and I have to say, I get a bit emotional. Such precious gifts these parents have in their boys. I really couldn’t be happier for this family of FIVE!!!

This was one of the very last portrait sessions I did before moving to Georgia a year ago and I am so excited to travel back to St. Louis this weekend to photograph this family again in celebration of this lil’ man’s first birthday. Looking forward to seeing how everyone has grown and witnessing their connections and family dynamic through my camera again. See you soon M family!!!

Timing is everything when it comes to beach portrait sessions.

There’s a reason I plan my sessions for the edges of the day. Right before sunrise and just before sunset, the sun sits low on the horizon, wrapping everything in soft, golden light. It’s flattering, gentle on skin tones, and creates that dreamy glow you simply can’t replicate at noon. The wind calms, the beach feels peaceful, and the magic naturally unfolds.

This sweet mother-daughter moment was captured on Jekyll Island at Driftwood Beach just as the sun was rising — when the sky turns pastel and the reflections shimmer along the shoreline.

When you trust the light, you get images that feel timeless, effortless, and full of heart.
