30 Image Matted Album for First Birthday

A beautiful 30 Image Luxe Matted Album arrived today for a lil’ man celebrating his first birthday! The cover his parents chose is called Borrowed, a Japanese fine-art silk, and compliments the portraits inside very nicely. Perfect for a Spring photography session in St. Louis with all the pastel colors of the blossoming trees. I adore these albums as they make such nice family heirlooms that can be passed down through the generations and will keep up with constant handling from all the viewing these beauties will take in over the years. Albums measure 9″x9″ and each thick pack displays a 5×7 beautiful print which is permanently adhered and matted for a timeless presentation. Many luxe fabric options are available in Italian leather, Japanese silk and natural linen. Something for everyone’s style and needs! There’s a reason I plan my sessions for the edges of the day. Right before sunrise and just before sunset, the sun sits low on the horizon, wrapping everything in soft, golden light. It’s flattering, gentle on skin tones, and creates that dreamy glow you simply can’t replicate at noon. The wind calms, the beach feels peaceful, and the magic naturally unfolds.

This sweet mother-daughter moment was captured on Jekyll Island at Driftwood Beach just as the sun was rising — when the sky turns pastel and the reflections shimmer along the shoreline.

When you trust the light, you get images that feel timeless, effortless, and full of heart.
