Teenage Portraits Downtown Athens, GA

Teenage portraits are so much fun! This beautiful girl wanted images for her comp sheet as she ventures into the acting and modeling world. She is a very talented dancer, so we mixed things up with dance images as well as images to showcase her personality and the ranges she can portray for future roles. We started things on UGAs North Campus and then moved to the streets of downtown Athens, GA. Great variety within a small area. Allowed for several outfit changes as well! Perfect. I am looking forward to seeing where the future takes her!

One of the many pleasures that I get to do as a photographer is documenting childhood and relationships of all ages.

Big milestones are such a privilege to photograph for families and especially ones where I know the artwork will be displayed for generations to come.

I think that is one of the reasons why I adore heirloom sessions so much. They are classic pieces that will never go out of style.

Looking at this image, it reminds me of a sibling image of my mom with her brother and sisters back in the 50s. Love that families continue the tradition of heirloom portraiture.

My favorite way to display images like this is on a canvas and framed in an ornate frame on the wall alongside past generations portraits.
