Spring is finally here, which means lots of family portraits outdoors among all the beauty that Mother Nature bestows upon us. These Spring family pictures just bring me so much joy. I have been photographing these four since their little girl was just a baby. Such an honor to photograph them through the years. It is even more special to do their sessions at their home in Athens where we can include their four legged family members too. Our pets are a big part of our family dynamic, so I love to include them when possible! Such a great tradition this family has started for themselves and their animals!
We had such beautiful weather for these Spring family pictures. Sunny, warm and that gorgeous flow that a sunset session gives. Love the variety we get on their property. We utilized the front side land for the gorgeous wildflowers and lush grass. We of course had to utilize the tree lined driveway, which always has my heart! We then finished it off in the back with their beloved animals, which is how we usually finish off their portrait sessions. I love hearing all the stories about the animals and witnessing their personalities. Even though many of their animals are rescues, they are super friendly and trusting of us humans and have really made deep bonds with each other as well as their human family members. Such a wonderful see to see and a testament to the type of people they are surrounded by.
The pastel color palette mom picked for their wardrobe was perfect for their Spring family pictures. Worked so well with the lush greens and beautiful flowers in their field. Love how they pulled in details that show off their style and personalities like the boots and daughter’s sparkly tutu dress. Great example of what to wear for your own family portraits this Spring.
