This family’s kids portrait photography session was quick, but fun! We all arrived at the location and it started raining. It had stormed the night before, so things were already damp, which is why we chose this particular setting since the walkways are so pretty and you wouldn’t have to worry about feet and clothing getting wet by grass or a field. Luckily, it was a light rain and they decided to continue with their kids’ portrait photography session despite the weather. Dad was heading out of town later that day and they were already in the mood and ready for a fun session! You would never know it was sprinkling through these images unless you looked at the wet sidewalks and stairs.
Rain did not get in the way one bit! The girls didn’t seem to mind it at all and the parents had a great sense of humor through it all and made the experience fun. Attitude really does make a difference. I love the outfits mom picked for the family to wear for their photo session. The girl’s wore dresses they wore in a recent wedding and then mom coordinated to them for herself and dad. It worked so well together and for the garden setting.
Aren’t the girls the sweetest together? They absolutely adore each other and have the best personalities. Such happy kids! I think they get it from their parents who are both fun-loving, caring and laid back. Love how everyone in this family interact and love on each other. Absolutely special and touching to witness.
Such an honor to have photographed this family though the years. I first met them at their newborn session for the eldest girl and I have had the privilege to capture them through my camera during major milestones through the years and as they have grown into a family of four.
