This family is always such a joy to photograph. I have been creating photographic art of this lil’ man since he was still in his mommy’s belly for their maternity photography session. Oh, how he has changed in the eight months he has been on earth. He has such a great personality – inquisitive, joyful and loving all in one! I love how he grips onto his parents’ fingers for assistance and how his gummy smile lights up the world and those in his presence. He absolutely adores his doggy and the feelings seem quite mutual. I am so glad that this family included their furry four legged family member for their portraits as he was these parents’ first child and unfortunately passed away shortly after their session from cancer. Such a sad loss for these three. Our pets are such a big part of our family life and documenting them in our photographs helps keep their memories alive while giving a glimpse of just how much they complete us as a family unit. It’s why I always encourage and welcome including clients’ furry family members into all portrait sessions with Yvonne Niemann Photography.
