St. Louis Outdoor Family Photographer

I have enjoyed photographing this family through the years! It all started back when they were expecting their first child and I had the opportunity to document their pregnancy through a maternity portrait session. So honored to be chosen as their outdoor family photographer. Cannot wait to create lifestyle images of them this Fall when I head back to St. Louis again.

This family is so fun and you can tell through the images the strong bonds they have. Love how playful the parents are with their children. The boys really look up to their parents and I know that they will have a grand time growing up in their household.

I can just hear the laughter through their images. Brings a smile to my face as I look over their portraits. Such a laid back family with so much love. They really know how to go with the flow. It started drizzling towards the end of their session, but it didn’t seem to phase them one bit.

I love it when grandparents get involved with family portrait sessions. I know these images will be treasured for years to come. Oh, how I wish I had images like this with my own grandparents. It would mean the world to me!

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
