Ahhhh….. A Southern Christmas child photography session!!!!! Isn’t it just the sweetest?! The dresses, the wreath, those beautiful girls. Perfection!

I absolutely adore photographing these two! I first photographed this family when the youngest was still in her mom’s belly. Cannot get over how much they have grown, but also to see their personalities evolve. These sisters always make me feel so good when they see me with their big smiles and all their stories as they catch me up on their lives. So special.

We held their session at their house this time and I utilized this little area off the side of their driveway for this portrait shown here. I just loved the light coming through the trees and I liked how the colors worked with the wreath the girls were holding. Once the light was ideal for their front porch, we moved to that location. Always special to do sessions at home where everyone is comfortable and you can highlight the uniqueness of your happy place!

Forty deserves to be celebrated!

For her 40th birthday portraits, she wanted vibrant color, an urban setting and images that felt fun, polished and completely her. We photographed at the same Atlanta location where she would later celebrate her birthday, complete with a brand-new haircut, balloons, a cupcake bouquet and the most fabulous birthday cake purse.

A milestone birthday is the perfect excuse to step in front of the camera and celebrate this season of life in your own style.

And just like that…the final milestone of her first year.

I first photographed this sweet girl while she was still in her mama’s belly, followed by tummy time, sitting, crawling and now her first birthday. Watching those tiny changes unfold through photographs is such a special part of what I do.

For her birthday session, we filled my studio with balloons and let her explore. Simple, classic and celebratory - with no worries about the Georgia heat or unpredictable weather.

Such a beautiful way to remember one very big year.
