Six Month Baby Portrait Photography

Documenting important milestones is something that I love doing through my camera. This sweet little one’s six month baby portrait photography session took place over the weekend at UT Gardens in Knoxville. Such a treat! I first photographed her when she was still in her mom’s belly, then for her newborn portraits and three month milestone. She has grown so much in such a short time!!! She is now able to sit up all on her own and is crawling. She loves cuddling with mom and playing with dad and her brothers. She is such a patient and calm baby who doesn’t get frazzled by much. Lucky, lucky parents!

Mom always does such a great job picking outfits for their portraits. Love this layered Summer dress and the bubble outfit of baby girl! So fitting for this time of year and goes really well at this particular location with all the white hydrangeas.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
