This past week I traveled to Bald Head Island, NC to photograph a family on the beach. Lots of favorites from their session, but I just had to share this love story portrait of these two! They are so sweet together. Love how they look out for each other and openly show their adoration for each other. Great role models for their children and grandchildren.
We really lucked out in terms of weather at their beach session. This was taken just a couple of days after hurricane Isaias and tornados came through the area, but things were pretty perfect the day of their session. The regular seasonal rains took place for a short time in the morning and all was clear by the afternoon and evening.
I have to mention how prefect their outfits are! Very fitting for the beach. The blue and white striped dress is such a classic and the tropical shirt works well with the colors of the beach and his wife’s dress. Such great colors for their complexions too! Great example of what to wear for beach portraits.
