Senior Portraiture at Fort Yargo State Park

This soon-to-be college grad is beautiful inside and out. I am so excited for what is to come for her. She was one of my daughter’s favorite gymnastics coaches and is such a great role model. Good coaches tend to be great motivators, counselors and people you can look up to and trust. She has all of these qualities along with great talent. She is graduating with a degree in exercise science and is moving on to grad school to finish up her studies in Physical Therapy. Happy to have her in our lives over the past years and looking forward to see where she takes her life ahead.

Senior portraiture at Fort Yargo State Park in the Fall

I am so glad we did her senior portraiture at Fort Yargo State Park. It is absolutely stunning right now! Full of vibrant Fall colors and fitting for this outdoors gal. She is originally from Colorado and loves adventures and fun surrounded by the beauty of Mother Nature, so this location was perfect. She happens to live down the street too!

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
