One Month Old Infant Boy!

January 28, 2014

This adorable baby boy was four weeks old for his St. Louis newborn photography session at his family home. Such an adorable lil’ man and very patient even with the start of a diaper rash. The soothing touch of baby Rs mom was all he needed at certain times and I know the cuddle time was much welcomed for both of them. Luckily, his dad was able to break away from work for a little bit for portraits and his presence seemed to calm his son immensely the moment he heard his voice. Amazing how quickly babies recognize their parents and form bonds. Congrats you three! You have a beautiful family.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
