This lil’ beauty turned one month old yesterday and I had the honor of photographing her for the special occasion! It’s not too often that I get to do sessions on actual birthdays, so this was a wonderful treat. I love being an infant photographer and being able to produce sweet and meaningful images like this for families.
I cannot get over those sweet full cheeks and her adorable features. Wish you could hear the sounds she makes. Oh, how I miss those baby sounds from my own daughter! Always brings back a flood of memories.
This makes baby girl #2 for this family. Their eldest daughter is three years old and such a sweet heart. She adores her baby sister and is a great helper. When I asked what her favorite things were to do to help out at home, she said she likes to help change diapers, bathing, hugging, kissing and singing. Absolutely no jealousy here. Lucky parents! Baby C is super laid back and really goes with the flow. Mom said that gas was bothering this Southern lady earlier in the morning, but she seemed to be much better during her portrait session. I think her favorite thins is to be cuddled by mom, dad and big sister. She really loves being bounced gently by daddy and comforting taps on the back by mom. The image above is one of my favorites of mother and this one month old as this was how mom held Miss C after a feeding and it would immediately put her at ease. Really shows her size right now too. Towards the end of the session, this lil’ beauty was such a sound sleeper, mom and I really had to work to wake her up to get some adorable images of her with her eyes open. Mom really wanted some sweet wide eyed portraits of her baby girl, so the extra activity time was well worth it. Cannot wait to show those images!!!! Absolutely precious.
