Perfect time of year for outdoor fall siblings photo sessions in Georgia. When I took this picture, mom mentioned how it looked like these brothers really liked each other. Ha! If you are a parent with multiple children, I am sure you can relate!

Oconee County, GA outdoor fall siblings photo in the woods.

We picked the wooded trails in Oconee County as the location for their portraits since the boys love the outdoors are into scouting. Seemed pretty appropriate. The fallen leaves right now make for a nice seasonal element as well. Their outfit choices are very fitting for their surrounding and this time of year too.

It was such a pleasure photographing these two along with their parents last night. I first met them when my family first moved to the area at church. My daughter and their eldest son are the same age and their youngest son is now the same age as my daughter when we all first met. We hadn’t seen each other in quite a few years, but it was great to see them again and catch up a bit during their photo session.

These boys are so sweet and have pretty chill personalities. Little brother loved exploring the area and big brother was game for whatever was thrown at him. Love how much this family laughs together too. Tight knit crew!

I have always been inspired by nature and it will always be something I love to photograph. I think it shows in my work with my portrait sessions too. I love finding locations that have elements of nature I adore. Magical lighting. layers of foliage, pretty flowers, pathways, tunnels of trees, boulders, various water elements and all the little details in between.

Looking forward to Spring and all that it brings. Since moving to Georgia, it is my absolute favorite season. What`s your favorite?

As things are warming up, nature is coming alive. You can see hints of it with grass greening up, tiny buds on trees and certain flowers showing off their beauty already. That also means that cherry blossoms will be flowering in the near future too!

I`ll be keeping an eye on things and when I have a better prediction of when they will be in bloom, I`ll make an announcement. Stay tuned.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.
