Newborn photos at home is such a special event and can be easier on new parents as they adjust to the new family dynamic. For this baby boy’s portrait session, we started outside in the family’s back yard to get some sweet images of this little man sleeping in nature. Love the moses basket by Design Dua.
We then moved inside to get some lifestyle images of this little man with his two sisters. They are so smitten with him. In fact, the youngest sister mentioned how she wanted to kidnap her brother so she could have him to herself. Her parents explained to her that she did not have to kidnap him as he would always be there and she could take care of him and be with him as much as she wanted.
Big sister is so great with babies and it really shows here. She is used to being around children as she is one of six siblings and helps out a lot with her brothers and sister. She is also a competitive cheerleader who helps coach little ones too. Very patient and hard working young lady.
Parents decided not to be in any of the newborn photos this time around, but I did get dad’s arms and hands in one image to show just how tiny their baby boy is at this stage of life. Babies are only this tiny for a short time, so it is a great way to show this perspective.
