What a beautiful Autumn weekend for family portrait sessions!
The first time I photographed them, Mr. R was a newborn and his dad came home over lunch to get in some of the portraits with his new family! How time passes…
R is now much older, wiser, independent and such a sweet little boy. He is into trains and Caitlin is his current favorite. He wasn’t quite sure what to make of me and my camera during his session, so I allowed him to just be with his family and play. His parents knew exactly what to do to help get those natural smiles and the tips worked like a charm! Apparently chucking hamburgers at a dinosaur out of a canon is quite funny. Who knew! This family is quite special to me and it is always a joy to photograph them through the years. Such an honor! Enjoy the sneak peek. Many more to come.
If you are wondering what to wear for an upcoming photography session, this is a great example. Mom’s brown boots coordinates well with dad’s sweater that has a button down shirt underneath. Mom’s gray sweater plays off their son’s sweater that also happens to have a button down shirt underneath to mimic dad without it looking too matchy.
