Yesterday I shipped out some photographic matted children photos to some dear clients. The thicker mats with bevel cut showcases cherished portraits in a sophisticated and timeless way. Matted children photos are ready to be placed in a favorite frame, propped up against a photo wall, on an easel or gifted to loved ones. The bevel cut mats help protect your images when framed as they let your photographic art breathe by creating a space between the artwork and the glazing. You may have some photos in your home that are stuck to the glass in your frames. This is something you don’t have to worry about with matted prints. To complete the archival process, make sure your matted prints are framed professionally using conservation techniques.
