Maternity Pictures Set to Music | Athens, GA Pregnancy Photographer

I absolutely adored this couple’s maternity pictures! We really lucked out with weather and location. This field is one that I drive by almost on a daily basis and the yellow flowers were in bloom and just begging to be photographed. How could I refuse Mother Nature’s gift?! This mom-to-be mentioned that she would really like some wild flowers in her maternity pictures, which made it even more fitting. Early this morning, induction began and their final journey to meet their son began. I know how anxious and excited these soon-to-be parents are to meet their baby boy and I thought sharing their portraits of their pregnancy would help bring things full circle. What a miracle life is! I can’t wait to meet the lil’ man and photographing this family of THREE soon. In the meantime, enjoy the music video!

Forty deserves to be celebrated!

For her 40th birthday portraits, she wanted vibrant color, an urban setting and images that felt fun, polished and completely her. We photographed at the same Atlanta location where she would later celebrate her birthday, complete with a brand-new haircut, balloons, a cupcake bouquet and the most fabulous birthday cake purse.

A milestone birthday is the perfect excuse to step in front of the camera and celebrate this season of life in your own style.

And just like that…the final milestone of her first year.

I first photographed this sweet girl while she was still in her mama’s belly, followed by tummy time, sitting, crawling and now her first birthday. Watching those tiny changes unfold through photographs is such a special part of what I do.

For her birthday session, we filled my studio with balloons and let her explore. Simple, classic and celebratory - with no worries about the Georgia heat or unpredictable weather.

Such a beautiful way to remember one very big year.
